Case Study: UPrep Celebrates 50 Years

This special issue of the UPrep Magazine celebrates the hard work, inspiring vision, and incredible evolution of this independent school built by seven Founders invested in the lifelong learning of each student. Our typical two, 50 page issues, merged into one giant, 100 page collection of heart felt and humorous stories, memorable moments, and cherished tales from students, faculty, and alumni who made the school what it is today. Over many months I worked closely with the editor and the team at UPrep to distill 50 years worth of stories, historical images, campus maps and more into a visually compelling and inspiring issue. We created portrait illustrations of the seven Founders as well as present and past heads of school, current students, and past alumni whose stories were told in this issue. It truly was a collaborative project, bringing the editor’s vision to life, and has received great feedback from the community.
